The Knowing
Prophecy is the prognostication, the divine revelation of a sovereign God. His ability to know all, see all, and express all regarding the future.
Prophecy is absolutely unique to the Bible. History written in advance about real people, real places, real times and real events told centuries, and even thousands of years, before they happen. The fulfillment of bible prophecy has been witnessed by the whole world.
Unfortunately, only a few people have taken the time to explore the depth of this reality and the opportunity of becoming a part of a rare group called The Knowing. In my opinion, you cannot be an atheist or agnostic, if you truly study and explore the Bible.
“I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.” Isaiah 42: 8-9
Prophecy proves the existence of God. The main reason for our lack of faith is our lack of understanding of divine prophecy.
“And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:1-2
Jesus spoke this prophecy in AD 30. In AD 70 the Roman Empire destroyed the temple with such devastation that not one stone was left upon another, according to the historical writings of the Roman historian of those days, Flavius Josephus.
The question is how can you believe future events if you don't know or believe what the Bible has already foretold of what will happen. Better yet, how can you say you believe the Bible if you have not personally tested its validity for yourself. Religion is believing because someone has told you, oppose to you discovering it for yourself.
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” Isaiah 46:9-10
The purpose of this scripture is designed by God the Father to provoke you to search after Him, not to just believe verbatim, but to prove for yourself the existence of God.
“It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverb 25:2
“I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them. Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heardest them not; lest thou shouldest say, Behold, I knew them. Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb.” Isaiah 48:5-8
God is looking for witnesses that will declare his word and glory to his name. He is not looking for non-believing believers, but those who have searched out his word and studied to show themselves approved that the word of God, is without question, the word of God.
“Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?” Isaiah 43:10 -13
There are two major subject areas of prophecy in the Bible; Israel, and, the Messiah who God sends through the loins of Israel. From those two subjects of prophecies, all other prophecies hang, including Armageddon, Second Coming, Anti Christ, Second Exodus (the Gathering of the Elect), etc. Knowing this fact, we can absolutely prove that God exists by researching the true history of Israel.
The enemy of God; the devil, is also real and has attempted throughout time to deceive the masses by placing impostures in place of the true Israelites and changing their ethnicity. He even went as far as to create the false religion of Catholicism.
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9
That being said, because God is sovereign and his word is spirit, he prophetically spoke of these things happening throughout the Bible. And regardless of the devil devices, the wisdom of God far exceeds him and any attempts of man to destroy what God has purposed.
True Israel
“And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” Luke 21:24
We must understand who Israel is to understand the end-time prophecy. The 24th verse of Luke shows that the Gentiles are in Israel until the time that God shall remove them.
“For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. For the Lord hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. Isaiah 54:5-7
According to prophecy the time of the Gentiles ends when true Israel comes out of blindness, at which time they will remember who they are. And God shall gather them.
This blindness was given to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles come in. The Gentiles are referred to as the wild branch being grafted in, and true Israel as the natural branch.
“For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?” Romans 11:24
So we can see by reading the entire chapter of Romans 11 that true Israel was grafted out do to sin and the Gentiles were grafted in to make true Israel jealous. God blinded true Israel for four hundred years. This was prophesied in Genesis.
“And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace…” Genesis 15: 13-15
There is only one group of people that fits this prophecy. The so-called African Americans, and those who were scattered over the four corners of the earth.
“And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.” Isaiah 11:12
The question becomes why were they scattered?
“And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.” Jeremiah 3:8
Notice that the ten tribes of Israel received the divorce, but the two tribes of Judah were spared the divorce because the bloodline of Jesus would come through that tribe of Judah. And because of the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ, Israel and Judah will be saved and become one nation again.
“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew 15:24
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Romans 11:26-29
The Bible is an amazing book that demonstrates the supernatural miracle of predicting events thousands of years before they come to pass. What’s even more amazing is that every predicted event happened exactly as the Bible stated it would. It is undisputed that the prophecies prove the existence of God.
