Welcome to NBCA

Our goal for your homeschooling experience is God’s glory. it is our vision and purpose to create a community of Christian families and offer academic and spiritual support for the success of the student. NBCA will come alongside the family in accountability, encouragement, and consulting roles, most notably providing umbrella protection according to the Annotated Code of Maryland Title 13A.10.05.

New Beginning Covenant Academy will provide:

• Assistance with the application/registration process in your school district

• Pre-enrollment conferences with parents or guardians

• Annual visits by supervisory personnel to the site where the pupil is receiving instruction,

• Conferences with parents or guardians at appropriate intervals during the period of enrollment.

• Curriculum review

• Homeschool ID card for discounts (coming 2023)

• Transcripts and progress reports (upon request)

• General Advising

• Notification to the local school superintendent if a change occurs in the status of a homeschooled student whose instruction was under its supervision during the school year.

Fees: 2022 -2023 School Year

• New Members of NBCA UMBRELLA ($100 enrollment fee for up to three participating children, each additional child $10)

• Returning Members of NBCA UMBRELLA ($75 re-enrollment fee for up to three participating children, each additional child $10)

• Delaware Resident ​($25 non-refundable application fee, $25 activity and support fee/per child)

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PARENT TO FILE A NOTICE OF INTENT TO HOMESCHOOL WITH YOUR MARYLAND COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION
