The Battle Over Us

It is important that we first understand that there are two forces at work, and many in the world are oblivious to this reality. The powers of good and evil, darkness, and light. God and Satan are at war over all of creation, fighting over the free will of a chosen people. It may seem that the odds are completely against Satan’s chances of winning; however, when you consider that each power is equally restrained by the free will of humans to choose, coupled with the power of Satan’s deception, the playing field becomes a bit more even, if not completely balanced. Also, history has already proven that God’s elect, his chosen, has turned their back to God on many occasions.

“And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.” Jeremiah 3:8

This lack of knowledge, that we the true chosen, are the commodity that the investors of good and evil are completely focused on. Unfortunately, this ignorance will cause many to perish, and few to gain eternal life.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6

As you can see, rejecting the knowledge of God and the keeping of his law has serious consequences. The reality is that you have to choose, one or the other, there is no neutral ground. Unfortunately many have already willingly made their decision to choose darkness, and many others by default.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

The forces of evil have painted such a deceptive portrait of this life, that it has blinded the minds of so many, causing them to have a greater love for this world than God. A willful acceptance of immorality, and a conscious rejection of morality. This blatant acceptance has even entered what was once known as our sacred assemblies, changing them to nothing more than mere institutions of religion. Churches full of false doctrines, false prophets, shepherds that are blind leaders, leading blind people.

These are the signs that Jesus spoke of when he was asked the question by his disciples concerning his return.

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” Matthew 24:4-5

However, the opponent to evil (Yahweh) can take what’s meant for evil and turn it for our good.

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Now therefore fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.” Genesis 50:20-21

As we can see there is this rumbling throughout the world that is crying loud to re-open ‘their cities.’ This cry ignores the number of deaths, as well as, the increase in death due to any re-opening. We are witnessing a sub-conscious confession of the love they have for their wealth over the concern for life. This disparity is huge. From a spiritual perspective, it totally violates the second commandment, to love thy brother as thyself. This truly confirms this battle is between God and Satan.

When Pharaoh refused the command of God to “let my people go” God increased the plagues. This stubborn disposition to return to normal will be met with the fierce hand of God, and unfortunately, many more will die.

Let’s visit a few scriptures to see the strategic position of God.

“Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20-21

Indignation: anger caused by something unfair or wrong.

As we can see God’s anger has risen upon the earth concerning what has been done to his chosen people. He has instructed us to go into our chambers and shut our doors until his indignation passes. God is punishing the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the injustices that were done to his people. We also can see clearly that this scripture is not referring to the first exodus, because in the 21st verse this punishment is to the entire earth, not just Egypt. Although Israel is being caught up in this pandemic, God will still make a distinction between his people and others, as he did in the first exodus.

“Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth. And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.” Jeremiah 25:32-33

I believe this passage is telling us that because the nations completely reject the idea that this has anything to do with God, there will be an increase in deaths to the extent that there will be too many people to gather for burial, and many will be left on the ground.

“If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:13-14

In 2 Chronicles, he makes a declaration affirming what he will do to and for his people; whatever he pleases. It is also clear in this scripture that his people are called by his name, his name is Yahweh. I encourage you to go online and search the original names of the slaves written is the slave ships log, you will see that many of our names ended in Yah. This is why our names were changed.

So What’s Next?

Increases in death from the virus, food shortages, riots, global chaos, war, the collapse of the dollar, a new global currency, the mark of the Beast, and for all believers the gathering of God’s elect. Things will never return to what many call normal.

Jesus confirms these signs and warns us of what’s to come in Matthew 24:13 he instructs us "But he that endureth unto the end, the same shall be saved". This is our part in the battle; to endure, to be strong in the faith, to put on the full armor of God. I encourage you to watch and pray, for our redemption is nigh.
