Stolen Identity

The majority of us grew up reading, studying, and cherishing the Bible, with no visual ethnic connection, no personal cultural identity exhibited. I believe that if the true ethnicity of the people in the Bible was correctly identified, many of us would be better people. If the word of God had appealed to us ethnically, the entire world would be the better.

Think about it, as children, when we looked at our faith, our Sunday school literature, all the characters were white. So ethnically there was no sense of identification. From the story of Moses to Jesus, the entire Bible was stripped of our identity.

Geographically, scholars knew that the indigenous people of that area were not white. Even today, white people refuse to admit that it was their ancestors that distorted the entire Bible. The Europeans in their attempt to secure superiority over God’s chosen, are guilty of defaming and destroying the context of the word of God. What will the judgment of God be for them and their ancestors?

“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:18-19

A “jot” means to the smallest letter, changing the meaning or origin of the phrase.

Even in their movies they reinforced the deception; Moses played by Charlton Heston, and Cleopatra played by Elizabeth Taylor. Even Jesus portraits depicted as blonde hair, blue-eyed European. So when society is indoctrinated with false images of Blacks as a people, who are not even recognized by God, it causes all of society to do the same. But what’s even more disturbing is that Black people began to despise themselves, trying to fit in and be accepted by a culture that is not theirs, nor ever can be. This psychological damage inflicted upon us as a people is the greatest sin one culture could put upon another, especially when it involves those who call themselves Christians.

The reality is that the entire Bible is centered around one people. They are the Children of Israel. They are and have always been, Black. The very beginning of scripture identifies us. There is no way the Bible, based on its geographical location can be a White man’s book. The first country mention in the Bible wasn’t Rome or Ephesus, nor Corinth it was Africa, the garden of Eden according to Genesis 2:13-14. And more importantly, the first man Adam, a Black man, was created there.

“And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.” Genesis 2:13-14

According to the book of Genesis 10, the earth was repopulated by Noah’s sons; Shem and Ham, the dark race; and Japheth, the European race. In addition to that Moses, an Israelite was raised in Egypt by Pharaoh’s daughter. Joseph was mistaken for an Egyptian by his brothers. Paul when facing his accusers, and asked if he could speak was mistaken for an Egyptian. Mary and Joseph were able to hide Jesus, as a two-year-old baby, in Egypt, becoming a fugitive because King Herod the Roman wanted to kill him. If you are a European with white skin, running for your life, the last place you would hide is in ancient Egypt.

Black people; whose ancestors were slaves, you and your children need to be proud. God didn’t leave you out of his divine plan for creation, you are his divine plan for creation. God hasn’t forgotten us, devalued us, rejected us, or cursed us. This was done by hateful people with a diabolical plan to erase the very existence of God’s chosen people. They erased our existence from the Bible, replacing us with pictures of themselves, from Adam to Jesus, to make us a nation no more.

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:” Psalm 83:1-5

I shudder at the audacity and the mitigating gull of the Europeans to commit such a heinous sin. To paint their images in God’s word and to enslave God’s chosen people, which will result in the simple gain of being judged and sent to hell.

To the Europeans, I ask this question how will you fix what your ancestors have done? Yet a better question is how could you not fix what your ancestors have done? It must be a daunting task erasing from your thoughts, the fact that due to the hatred of your ancestors towards Black people, over 400 years of their lives were destroyed. Taken from their land, rape of their culture, name, and identity, only to live in a country that treated them less than animals.

My warning to you is that you will be judged, yes, even for the deeds of your fathers.

“Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.” Jeremiah 30:16

“He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.” I John 2:9-11

“O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods? Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The Lord.” Jeremiah 16:19-21

In these last days Jesus warns us that nation shall rise against nation. The word ‘nation’ in Hebrew, is ethos, which means ethnicity. I believe an unrepentant heart will fuel this conflict. Therefore my prayer for you is that you will repent for the deeds of your fathers, before it’s too late.

Finally to my Black family, I encourage you not to hate, but to remember that Jesus said we would be hated.

“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.” John 15:18-27
