The Miseducation of the Black Church
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:6
During slavery we were taught a Eurocentric approach to the Bible, meaning everything presented to us concerning God’s word was characterized from a white perspective. This psychology was designed to condition the slave to remain inferior, and subservient to their masters. Also, they made it illegal for any slave to read, so that the interpretation of the word of God would only be presented from their viewpoint. The effects of this indoctrination continue even to this very day
To some degree, we have become subconscious slave masters. We present the same mischaracterization of the gospel to our children from a perspective that was strategically designed to promote self-hate and the degradation of us as a people. This indoctrination has resulted in a reversed psychology; causing us to feel accepted by our counterparts' viewpoint. We serve their white Jesus, without any conscious awareness of the fact that God created the garden of Eden in Africa, and that the first man Adam was black. Blind to this simple understanding that the indigenous people of that region of the Bible by geographic location couldn’t have been white. Even the thought of this truth can’t be expressed in our pulpit, because to promote ourselves in a superior position, subconsciously causes us to conclude that we are preaching hate.
To this very day many of us who call ourselves leaders have completely no understanding of who we are in the word of God. Nor do we even care that our identity was stolen, as the true people of God. Let me remind us that when something is stolen from you it still belongs to you.
Slave masters allowed our ancestors to preach the gospel only if they preached what they were told to preach, because the slave master knew who we were in the Bible. Even to this day they developed institutional seminaries to accredit their position; giving degrees to pastors to continue the lies and deception that completely diminish the true identity of God’s chosen people.
It is of the utmost importance to understand this. Without true understanding, we are destroyed and our children are forgotten. For this willful ignorance, we will be judged. Allow me to stress to the spiritual leaders of my generation, it is time for us to tell the truth to the next generation. We must empower them with an understanding of who they are, and that God has not forgotten them. The question then becomes; how can we do this if all we know about our history is that we are the descendants of slaves. Therefore I invite you to go on this journey of discovery with me. There are only two prerequisites, that you enter with an open mind, and that you study intensely to prove this word for yourself.
The Truth and Nothing but the Truth
The Bible, as well as Ancient Historians, describes the Ancient Israelites as black. The bible uses the appearance of Ancient Egyptians, as a reference to what the Ancient Israelites looked like. Moses and Paul, who were Israelites, were mistaken for Egyptians. Egyptians were black Africans. For some, the fact that Ancient Egyptians were Black people could be new information and sound outlandish.

Migration from Israel to West Africa.
“And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Matthew 24:1-2
In 70 AD the Romans invaded Israel causing millions of Israelites to escape to Africa. “In his book, The Great Roman-Jewish War: 66–70, the Roman historian, Flavius Josephus, stated over thousands of years ago, that the Israelites migrated into Africa. He writes:
“General Vespasian and his son Caesar Titus fought against the Jews. Millions of Jews fled into Africa, among other places, fleeing from Roman persecution and starvation during the siege.”
This historical migration is backed up by the DNA evidence which shows Black people of the African diaspora can trace their ancestors back to Israel.
According to the Tarikh es-Soudan recorded by Abderrahman Ben Abdallah Ben 'Imran Ben 'Amir Es-Sa'di (translated by O.Houdas), a Jewish community was formed by a group of Egyptian Jews, who had traveled to West Africa through Chad. See also: al-Kati M., “Tarikh al-Fattash, 1600”. Egypt is right next to Israel and it is a fact that the Israelites lived in Egypt for centuries.
Joannes Leo Africanus, a Berber diplomat and author, traveled extensively in Africa south of the Sahara where he encountered innumerable Black African Jewish communities. Leon later converted to Catholicism but remained interested in Jewish communities he encountered throughout his travels in West Africa.
Before Europeans invaded Africa, many of our ancestors were practicing the same customs of the Torah. Many Africans today still practice those customs.
The prophecy of our journey can be found is in Genesis 15:13–15 and Acts 7:6–7. This prophecy says that the Israelites would be enslaved and mistreated for 400 years and afterward God would punish the nation that enslaved them and they would come out of their captivity with great wealth and would return to their homeland.
Blacks arrived as slaves in America in 1619. 1619+400=2019. I don’t think it is a coincidence that in 2019, Trump signed a bill called the 400 years of African American History Commission Act, proposed by a black congressman named Bobby Scott of Virginia. This bill plans to redistribute wealth to the African American community through grants. Also, Ghana has declared 2019, the Year of Return for Black people of the African Diaspora. This will allow Black people to return to their homeland and receive dual citizenship.
The miserable plight of the 20 million Black people to America is the fulfillment of divine prophecy. The serious race problems that we experience here is also the fulfillment of divine prophecy.
DNA Evidence
Africans have the biggest genetic diversity in the world. Not all black people come from the same tribe, nor do all Africans have the same DNA. That being said African Americans and other Black people scattered around the world during the slave trade, have a different genetic code than other Africans in Africa. Black people of the Diaspora, unlike other Africans, trace their DNA ancestry back to the Land of Israel. Many Africans still living in Africa also have this same genetic code; for example the Lemba Tribe in Zimbabwe.
All of the biblical evidence, DNA evidence, historical evidence, anthropological evidence, and archaeological evidence, proves that Black people are the Israelites.
The name, Israelites, have become synonymous with “Hebrews” or “Jews”. Today most people associate Israelites, “Hebrews”, and “Jewish People”, with the Europeans who call themselves Jewish. However, DNA evidence shows that European Jewish people, are not Israelites by blood, and have no genetic connection to the land of Israel. This is why they are called Jew-ish, meaning not the original or true Jews. To some, this may sound offensive, but it is simply the truth. This was proven by research.
In 2001, Dr. Ariella Oppenheim and her team at Tel Aviv University released their study which found that the European Jew-ish people were mainly from Khazaria, a Caucasus country which is now called Kazakhstan, Georgia, and other names. The Khazarians converted from pagan religions to Talmudic Judaism after the 8th century.
In 2012, Dr. Eran Elhaik, (who is Jew-ish,)and his team at the McKusick-Nathans Institute of Genetic Medicine, Johns Hopkins University School, conducted a study and found that 90 percent of European Jew-ish people do not have ancestry from Israel.
Thousands of years ago, before our heritage, language, and identity were stripped from us we were known as Jews.
The evidence will show that Israel is our true homeland and that Europeans converted to Judaism and have no genetic connection to the land of Israel. The origin of the Israelites is rooted in the Bible. The story goes as follows: God chose the nation of Israel as his chosen people and established a covenant with them.
“For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.” Deuteronomy 7:6
God told the Israelites that He would bless them if they obeyed him and if they didn’t he would allow a list of curses to fall upon them (as seen in Deuteronomy 28: 1-68). The Israelites rejected God and eventually rejected the Messiah. Remember Jesus was an Israelite, and from the tribe of Judah.
This is the same tribe African Americans are from, as you will learn later on in this article. If Jesus was of the same tribe and race as so-called Black people, it means that he was what modern-day society would call, a “Black man.” The fact that the Israelites and Jesus were black, should not be surprised when you find out that the first man created by God in the Bible, named Adam, was a Black man.
The National Geographic released a documentary called “The Search For Adam”. Using Forensic and DNA evidence, the scientists concluded that the facial reconstruction below is what Adam looked like. He unmistakeably looks like what modern-day society would call, a Black man.
In terms of Jesus, nowhere in the Bible does it describe Jesus as being white with blonde hair and blue eyes. This was a tool of white supremacy. If you were on a mission to conquer a people, what other way to keep a people inferior and enslaved, than to convince them that their slave owners were the same race as their Lord and Savior? Initially, Jesus was sent by God to save only the Israelites, but they rejected him. Due to this rebellion against God, the curses fell upon the Israelites. They were exiled out of Israel, fled to West Africa, they were eventually sold into slavery throughout the Americas and other European nations.
Thousands of years ago, around 100 AD, a Roman historian named Tacitus, wrote about Jews in his book, Histories, saying, “Many assure us they were a race of Ethiopian origin.” Ethiopians are black Africans. In other words, Tacitus stated that Jews were of black African descent.
In 2008, a professor named Yair Ben David, of Tel-Aviv University, conducted a facial reconstruction of a skeleton, found in Israel, during Archaelogical digging. The skeleton is believed to be an ancient Israelite. The results showed that the skull had African characteristics. Many Israelites still live in Africa.
In the 1990s, a black Hebrew tribe called the Lemba, which resides in Zimbabwe, had their DNA tested in a study done by The Center for Genetic Anthropology at University College London. The DNA test confirmed, that the Lemba, had the same DNA sequences as the Israelite priests, that many believe to be the descendants of Aaron, the older brother of Moses.
The results from the study mean that the Lemba tribe shares the same DNA as the ancient Israelites. A DNA study done on Sephardic Jews, by Family Tree DNA, showed that the DNA sequences that are found in predominately Sub Saharan Africans and African Americans were present during the “formation of the Ancient Israelites.” The black Hebrew tribes in Africa, mentioned above, are fascinating.
Two French travelers from the 18th century, Conrad Malte-Brun and James Gates-Percival traveled around Africa during the time of the Slave Trade, while traveling through the Kingdom of Loango, which is present-day Congo, they came across black Jews. In their book, A System of Universal Geography they write:
“The kingdom of Loango contains black Jews, scattered throughout the country; they are keepers of the sabbath so strictly that they do not even converse on that day; they have a separate burying ground, very far from any habitation. The tombs are constructed with masonry, and ornamented with Hebrew inscriptions.”
The roots of racism against black people can be found in the Bible. In the 28th chapter of the book of Deuteronomy, it describes how if the Israelites broke certain commandments, God would allow numerous curses to come upon them. The Bible states that these curses would be a sign upon the Israelites and their descendants forever. This means that the curses help us identify those who are Israelites today. What are some of the curses that would identify the Israelites?
“And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.” Deuteronomy 28:68
According to most theologians, in this passage, the word buy means to redeem or save them. In other words, this curse says that the Jews would go into slavery, by ships, where they would be sold and nobody would redeem or save them from it. This curse fell upon Black people during the Atlantic Slave Trade. During the Atlantic Slave Trade, it is estimated that a total of about 12 million Africans were scattered to the United States and Latin America. This also happened to Native Americans who were sold into slavery and shipped to Europe.
“Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.” Deuteronomy 28:30
“Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long; and there shall be no might in thine hand.” Deuteronomy 28:32
“Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.” Deuteronomy 28:41
These scriptures are referring to the Atlantic Slave Trade, in which the wives of African men were raped by many European owners. It also describes how the children of black men and women were sold away into slavery as well.
“The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:” Deuteronomy 28:33
This verse means that the Israelites would labor in a nation and that the country they were in would get wealthy off the labor. The verse also implies that the Israelites would not enjoy the fruits of their labor and that the Israelites would always be persecuted.
The countries that participated in the Atlantic slave trade and slavery, got rich off the free labor of blacks. Blacks did not receive reparations, but many slave owners did. Globally, Blacks are considered to be socially, politically, and economically at the bottom of society.
“The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;” Deuteronomy 28:49
An eagle is one of America’s main symbols.
“Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.” Deuteronomy 28:4
”And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years” Acts 7:6
The 400 years of slavery and mistreatment can only apply to American slavery. The Israelites sold to America during the Atlantic Slave Trade have been in America for 400 years. The first Africans to arrive in America during slavery was in 1619.
“And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place.” Acts 7:7
After the Israelites are in bondage for 400 years, God will judge the nation that mistreated the Israelites. This judgment means punishment. After 400 years of America mistreating the Israelites or so-called African Americans, America will be punished by God’s divine wrath. Then the Israelites will be freed from their captivity and will return to their homeland, Israel.
The Hebrew Nation consisted of two kingdoms. The Kingdom of Israel and the Kingdom of Judah. These two kingdoms became divided. In the book of Zechariah, one of the prophecies was that the Kingdom of Judah would be saved first.
“In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.” Zechariah12:6-7
This would explain the 1619–2019 timeline that is mentioned for African Americans. African Americans are from the Kingdom of Judah. Below is a map of Africa before it was altered. Notice how on the same territory labeled the Slave Coast,( where the Africans would be stolen and sold into slavery), it is also labeled the Kingdom of Juda. Wherever the Israelites went they tried to hold on to their names.
“And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee, And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul; That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee. If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the Lord thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: And the Lord thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers. And the Lord thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. And the Lord thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee. And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the Lord, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day. And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:” Deuteronomy 30:1-9
Here is a quick example of how the Israelites would try to hold on to their heritage through their Hebrew names. Below are records of the names of the Israelites who were sold into slavery in the Americas. Notice how most of these particular slave records shown, end in “Yah”. Yah is Hebrew for God. This confirms 2 Chronicles 7:14.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
