Our Name

When we entered the North American continent and surrounding islands, the slave masters that purchased us changed our names as a part of the ownership process. But Why? Why would we be stripped of names?

Yahweh is His name and our original names ended in or contained Yah.  We are the true People of God.

 “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
